The theme of this week
are celebrities. I instead choose a celebrity or do an interview of what people
think about those people that we make famous. I gave the task of analyze, why
these people, normal and common as any of us, have the power to make us spend
our money, lost our time and wish their lives. When we are in the supermarket,
when we walk down the street, when we are in our homes watching television or
listen to the radio, we are constantly bombarded by different common people
that many see as gods. We wish their hair, their clothes, their houses and in
more extreme cases often we would like to be
like them. What makes these people's life be more valuable than ours?.
We are not happy with who we are?, because if it is in this way, we have very
serious problems of self-esteem. Or is it more like admiration?, then if it is
it, can we admire a person to feel less
and wish uncontrollably, spending our money and hours of life to want
the lives of others. Well, suppose that it is rather a simple admiration.
Because these people, perhaps can buy things that many wish?. Or they receive
attention, desire, admiration and importance that we want?. That admiration and
fame that often we give to different types of people, for stupid things, is not
something of today . Through history there have been different types of famous
people, that somehow it became ridiculously admired. This
"admiration" indisputably leads us to want to be like them. To become
obsessed to the point of resorting to a plastic surgery to obtain silhouette of Jennifer
López, or the lips of Angelina Jolie. Or we spend hundreds of dollars trying to
transform our hair that had that actress
in the last interview. Or change our closet each season to imitate their style
of dress, their combinations, that automatically becomes ours.

Admire in a obsessive way a celebrities is something really worrying. When we leave our life to live the
life of others, where is our essence?. Where we leave what we really like,
and our creativity?. We become puppets,
imitating absolutely everything. They manipulate us and become millionaires at the
expense of our pocket. Are their ideas, acts and favorites are better than ours?. I think that we have to analyze what we are
doing. Let dress like the artist on the cover of that magazine, for the simple
fact that she is famous, when you can have your own style, your own hair, your
own forms of acting, thinking...your own life. You can admire those who do good
things but, not obsessed with the lives of others and forgetting who we are. Focus
on our life and stop to
aspire to be like a celebrity. Stop dreaming about their lives and give value
and importance to those who we really are.
